Is Taking Yaz Bc Pills In Different Order Harmful?

Hi. Im on Yaz birth control pill. I drank my white pill and i had my period. Only for 2 days. But.. I still had 1 white pill left to drink but I didnt drink it. I thought I was supposed to start in the silver section. What I didnt realize was that I messed up the days. It was on a Tuesday evening. I drank the wednesday pill in the silver section on Tuesday. On fiday I realized that I dont have a pill for friday so I skipped that day. I had unprotected sex that night and the next day as well. Can I become pregnant? Or not?

Yacht BC pills have two type of pills Pink pills have female hormones & they act to prevent ovulation & also conception. The white pills are inactive pills... which do not have hormone ...these create a break in hormones to start bleeding.

Though taking pills in sequence is desired for best results exchanging pink pill for a while is not very risky (it is important to take them continuously). You were confused in taking pink or active pills & also dropped one pill.

This can cause stimulus for ovulation and conception too. You have very less chance for conception as you had bleeding after taking white pills. Wait for the bleeding to stop & start with new patch regularly as prescribed. In case you don't get periods after taking white pills next time. Please consult your doctor.
