Hi, Im in my 12th Week now. I had severe nausea vomitting from 6th Week only. Doctor advised me to Vomikind tablet every day morning before food. And she asked me to stop it in 11th Week. But im still not able to eat anything. Drinking water also is a problem as everything comes out. As im working iwill not be able to sit in office with this sort of feeling. Hence i continued with this tablet. Please suggest whether this is safe. This is my first pregnancy.

Hello, Thanks for the query. Vomikind is an antiemetic containing ondansetran. It belongs to category B drugs in pregnancy according to FDA. According to studies conducted there is no increased risk to the fetus reported with this drug. You can continue the tablet but do regular follow up scans.Also you can try tab.doxinate for vomiting.
I would advice you to: 1.Eating small, frequent meals high in carbohydrate and low in fat, 2.Eating plain biscuits about 20 minutes before getting up. Hope I have answered your query. Thank you
