Is Talk Therapy A Good Practice Long After Suffering From Depression?
My husband has been in weekly talk therapy for over 10 years. He did not have a traumatic childhood, or any serious trauma in his past, although had some problems with depression which instigated the therapy, but which have been resolved. As fas as I know, he and his therapist have not discussed any sort of end-game. Is this normal or good practice?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Talk therapy will definitely benefit for a person who is having depression. Along with it he also needs to take certain prescribed medications regularly. Healthy diet and good amount of fluid intake are also equally essential.
