Is Tapering Off Of Ativan Advisable?
Hello, I have been on Ativan for 3 years and I m trying to taper which is so difficult. My doctor just prescribed me atenolol to help with my taper but I have a normal heart rate and blood pressure every time I m checked.... Is this the safe and smart thing to do.

You can taper Ativan. There may be cardiac issues while tapering the Ativan. That may be the reason for Atenelol has started. Nothing much to worry and your treatment is in the right track.
