Is Tapping The Fingers A Symptom Of Anxiety In Children?
We just noticed that my daughter that she has a habit of tapping her fingers (each fingers) frequently, so she likes to tap /touch her thumb finger to each of the other fingers on both hands (at the same time -both hands). Sometimes she does it, when she watches tv. Is that normal ? Or does she have anxiety problem. She is 7 by the way, turning 8 in October.

I would consider this normal behavior, and as long as she doesn't have any other symptoms of anxiety, I wouldn't be concerned about it at all.
