Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I have Hypopituitarism caused by a pituitary tumour when i was 14, and last january i was in itu with severe sepsis caused by cellulitis and my body going into adisonian crisis. I am recovered from the sepsis and cellulits and i m wondering if it is safe for me to get a tattoo?
Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic. I can understand your concern. No, it is not at all safe. Tattoos are very risky in terms of skin infection. There is high chance of contamination of skin infections by tattoo needles and tattoo artists. So better to avoid tattooing especially with the history of severe cellulitis and calm sepsis. Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
