Is Telmisartan Recommended To Treat Pain In Groin, Back And Thigh?

I took telmisartan for 13 days on the 12th day I started experiencing acute pain in the groin and down the front of the thigh also radiating to the back. That was October 5th, when I stopped this drug, still have a lot of pain October 22nd. Doctor at emergency said it was a groin pull, blood tests proved no clots.

Your groin pain is no way related to usage of Telmisartan. I do put telmisartan to many of my patients in my clinic. We have not reported any such advrse events.
use pain killer for few days , it will subside
