This is geetha,i am 28 weeks preganancy yesterday i went to check my baby,i have taken ultrasound scan in that i got result like myAamniotic fluid levels at 23.0 cm,is this is problem to me or my baby,please give me suggestion,and how reduce that fluid.

An amniotic fluid level of more than 20 is considered to be high. We call it polyhydramnios.
Most of the time there is no reason for this. Sometimes it is associated with conditions like diabetes, brain defects, and Rh sensitization.
There is no treatment at levels of 23. You will need a TIFFA scan to rule out birth defects. Also check your blood group and blood sugar. More frequent monitoring may be needed as the pregnancy progresses. The fluid may go down spontaneously in many cases. Bed rest is important as there are more chances of preterm labor and leaking of fluid as it is more in quantity and stretches the uterus. So discuss all this with your doctor and get the tests done.
