Is The Drug Change From Lisinopril To Amioradone The Reason For Weakness During Recovery From Broken Leg?

My dad was switched from linosopril and carvedilol to a higher dose of carvedilol and amioradone when he was in the hospital for a broken leg, he is now in his 6th week of recovery and very weak, we really think it is the drug change, but how can we find out if the physicians will not consider it?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The change of the anti hypertensive drug that you are taking is not likely to affect the process of bone healing. There is no investigation to detect the causative relationship except to stop taking the medicine.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
