Is The Elevated Level Of T4 Is Hypo Or Hyper Thyroid?
Hi, my recent blood test results for thyroid shows, T4 (By CLIA method) is 12.8 where the ref.range is 4.87-11.72
TSH (By CLIA method) is 2.41 where the ref.range is 0.35-5.50
T3 ((By CLIA method) is 84.5 where the ref.range is 58-159
I am taking thyroxine 100mg for the past 2 years. Kindly let me know if iam hypo or hyperthyroid. Is the dosage 100mg is right me? what problems will this create? Pls reply. Anitaa
Your T4 level is a bit high.In my opinion your dosage of Thyroxine should be reduced to a slightly low level, may be to 87.5 microgram.You should go for a repeat profile after 6 months after start of this dose.
