Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My brain MRI findings are... Multile T2 and Flair hypountense foci are seen in bilateral central semiovale, periventricular white matter and corona radiata. Some of these foci are also extending within the subcortical white matter. One of these foci are showing an area of restricted diffusion on post - contrast enhancememt. Can you please explane what this means and what it could possible mean, is this a disease process...if what disease could I be looking at???
There is essential need of underlying symptoms and physical examination findings of central nervous system and peripheral nervous system to co relate the facts of above MRI findings. In absence of such information, I can quote like that, the MRI findings do favor possible issues with brain as abnormal calcification via underlying neuro chemical changes, Multiple sclerosis or else.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
