Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of chronic stomach problem, flare ups, with symptoms of infection like bloating, gases, digestive woes etc, scheduled visit to a Gastroenterologist tomorrow but wants to know about a circular mole-like black lesion on the inside left cheek and whether this is connected with
stomach infection.
Since there is an intestinal infection, I would advise you the following:
Clinical evaluation by your Doctor for vitals and local examination.
Investigations of stool, blood,
ultrasonography and as required.
A course of an antibiotic,
metronidazole and
probiotic should help you fully.
The black mole like structure on the inside of left cheek can be a benign mole or can be a
malignant melanoma.
Since this is small it is better to to get the lump excised for two reasons:
1. you get rid of the extra mass out of body and
2. You get a confirmed diagnosis by histopathology .
