Is The Medication Of Levonorgestrel And IDOZ 72 Advisable?
Hello, I am a mother of two children, 6 years and 19 months. I am breastfeeding my second child and I am on nefidipine, 30 mg per day, due to high blood pressure discovered lately. Today, I had a condom leakage and I want to take a morning after pill, levonorgestrel, IDOZ 72. Is it Ok to take the pill? Will i have side effects. I am 42 years old, 72 kg, and 168 cm tall. I try to live a healthy life and the blood pressure occured lately. All blood tests were within norms. i meassure regurlary and it moves from 138-88 to 145-95. Yes, it is advisable to take to IDOZ-72 to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. It should be used within 72 hours of unprotected sex like 'condom leakage' in your case.
Its first dose should be taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex and the second dose is taken 12 hours later. The sooner it is used, the more effective it is.
Generally it is well tolerated by most women, however it may cause nausea, abdominal pain, fatigue, headache, menstrual changes, breast tenderness, fluid retention, and dizziness. These symptoms may be less severe with IDOZ-72.
IDOZ-72 can prevent pregnancy by 89% however it may not prevent tubal pregnancy. Further, I advise you to consult a physician for your high blood pressure.
