Is The Stomach Pain Related To A Stomach Bug Or Gall Bladder?

Hi I started having a sharp burning pain in what I call my stomach but is right in the area where my gallbladder should be , the pain started7 days ago and came a went , got really bad on the4day to where every time I ate I would throw up. It has eased off now o a dull ache. Could it be my gall bladder or just a stomach bug.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should do some examinations like abdominal ultrasound and a blood test to confirm the diagnose. It can be gallbladder but take an appointment with your doctor to clear the situation. He will take full history of your symptoms and physical examination. In the meantime, check your blood pressure.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Blerina Pasho, General & Family Physician
