Daughter applied betnovate to neck and face for contact dermatitis 6 months ago. Now the sun is out she has no pigment and strong tan lines making white patches very visible. Is this permanent? Only used for 3 days. How can this re-pigment? Very disfiguring.
1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with SPF more than 30. 2. Apply a Tacrolimus 0.03 % ointment twice daily on affected skin. 3. Other treatment options are oral multivitamins and topical steroid given only after consulting a dermatologist.
