Ultrasound report says "both ovaries shows multiple tiny follicles peripherally arranged. Right ovary measures 3.3x2.0x2.8 cm with volume of 10.cc. Left ovary measures 4.0 x 2.1x2.7 cm with volume of 12 cc." in conclusion it is mentioned Bilateral ovaries shows tiny follicles arranged peripherally" my question for you Please let me know is the report okay or any problems?
According to reports probably you have bilateral polycystic ovarian disease(PCOD). It is suggested by multiple small follicles arranged at periphery in both ovaries and echogenic stroma of ovaries. PCOD should be confirmed by clinical correlation and biochemical markers like hormonal assay for PCOD. PCOD is a curable disease and mostly it is treated by medicines.Surgical intervention is required in very few cases. Hope i have answered your query.
