Is There A Marrow Infiltrative Process To Correlate Clinically?
Sagittal and axial imaging of the lumbar spine performed with T1 and T2 weighted imaging. Bone finding: generalized hypointensity of the bony structure especially on T1 weighted images. No associated bone marrow edema on T2 weighted sequences. Question whether there is a marrow infiltrative process. Correlate clinically. Meaning?
HI Thank for asking to HCM If it is hypointensity detected in T1 for bony structure, then could be miscellaneous type of pathology so the radiologist advise to correlate this with chief complain of patient and that is said "Correlate with the clinical condition" if the clinical complain are related with the finding of radio imaging then clinician can label the provisional diagnosis, I hope this answer will help you in understanding it, have nice day.
