Hi,Priya,thanks for query.Normally skin problems like urticaria are cumbersome to treat.The best thing to do done is try to find out the cause of allergy.Please ask her to maintain diary,she mark the events this will help your doctor in identifying the cause.Apart from this please get her blood counts,blood sugar done.You do not need special doctor,just stay with one good dermatologist.Patience is he key.
wishing her good health.
Hi priya;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
Urticaria is a allergic reaction and can be due to food allergy;dust and pollens;mites in bed;insect bite;and even dry skin can result in such a condition.It is a difficult to treat condition.At age of 45 yrs or more in females there can be few hormonal changes(close to menopause or at menopause) in the body which can result in dryness of skin or change in texture of skin which may be causing allergy.Please try to locate the allergy causing factor and get treatment from a Skin specialist.The best treatment is only possible after the proper diagnosis of allergy causing thing.
wish her a speedy recovery.
Thanks
