Is There A Relation Between Swelling In Fingers In Hand And Having A Bilateral Knee Effusion?

greetings sir

I am a Military pilot and 3 months back had bi-lateral knee effusion.
it was aspirated and to relieve of the inflammation I was given a shot of steroid in each knee.
the sweeling did not return , however now I have sweeling in my index finger of LT hand and middle finger of RT hand.
No h/o of pain in any joint
HLA b-27 negative
Anti-CCP negative
RA factor Negative

the fluid collected from the knees- was it sent for testing?
if so the result of the fluid may be important to know
they may give us the diagnosis
and thereby help us treat you

besides i would suggest you get uric acid and ana levels tested also
an x ray of the hand would be useful too
