Well, I want to ask this to a Phoniatrics specialist, because I ve been told by an ENT doctor I ve visited to do so. Anyways, I m 18 turning 19 in a few months, and I ve a really high-pitched voice that sounds like a 13-year-old girl, and I feel like my vocal cords are so tightened even after sleeping for more than 8 hours. So, I know this is like a feature of my voice. It s really making me uncomfortable, like I can t be myself because of it. And some people I know even made a comment on it, so you can just imagine how it is! So, here s my question: is there a cure for that? And I don t mean just surgeries. I mean is there a medicine I can take for that? I don t want to do the voice-training thing, because I ve tried for some time, but I want fast results. (And my blood tests show that I ve normal hormone levels. I know that because my parents are doctors). Thanks for reading my message :) I really appreciate this.
