Is There A Risk Of Contracting HIV From Contact With Genital Fluid?

Hi Doctor, She put a vibrator and covered it with condom. Her vaginal liquid was coming out. She touched me with that. Don t remember whether the vibrator has touched my penis or not. Anyway, after that wore a condom n had sex with her. When the sex finished, my penis got flaccid but still condom was covering my penis and tip. I checked condom after that and in the rim of the condom was not having any liquid and it was not broken. Chances of HiV?? Shall i start PEP?

Hi,

Contact with vaginal fluid has a negligible risk (not a high risk) for HIV transmission. HIV can't penetrate the intact skin usually and needs an abrasion or an injury to skin or mucous membrane for the entry. If you had any sore over the contact region the risk is more. Nothing wrong in going for PEP, if you have doubt.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
