Is There A Treatment For Morbidly Obese 45 Year Old?
Is there any treatment? My 45yr old son is morbidly obese and his lower extremities are hardening, feels like leather...legs, lower stomach which overhangs legs and legs..we are in NC, no Dr. that I can find locally will help. Any info. any ref to Drs. who will help?????

Dear friend, Greetings from HCM... i understand your problems... mobidly obese that too 45 year old ... might need consultation with an endocrinologist need to rule out any endocrinal abnormalities ...
also they will verify whether he is the right candidate for the bariatric suggeries ... and his fitness too.... i think that will be the way to go ... or else he will be having future chances of getting metabolic diseases like diabetes/hypertensiion
