Is There A Vein That Supplies Placenta With Blood During Pregnancy?
Hello, I am in need of the name of the veins that supply the placenta with blood during pregnancy that become enlarged. My mom, my sister and I have these very enlarged veins as a genetic issue and became excessively enlarged during pregnancy. My niece is about to have a hysterectomy and I would like to forward the information to her so her Dr is aware.
Uterine ARTERY gives blood to the uterus. There are a lot of veins that carry blood away. It has to go through the liver. Blood builds up and often there is increased veins on the surface of the abdomen and this is not necessarily abnormal.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
