Is There Any Adverse Effect Of Using A Boric Acid Capsule Vaginally A Day Before Going For Swimming?

Hello, I had inserted a boric acid capsule vaginally for maintainence two days ago. I went swimming in a hot tub and a pool the day after inserting it and I am wondering if I am ok? Just a little scared since I possibly could have swallowed some pool water, however I have no symptoms of toxicity. Just nervous and concerned.

Hi,

Boric acid pill inserted vaginally, is not likely to react with oral water intake. At the most vaginal pill would be washed away with pool water. Please don't worry.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
