Is There Any Correlation Between ESR And MCH And RBC While Treating CN VI Nerve Palsy?

HI IM AN optometrist. I HAVE A 13 yr old girl with CN VI nerve palsy,hx of fever /flu 2 weeks ago was on TAMIFLU.

optic nerve head appears slightly suspicious for papillaedema . mri was neg. BLood WORK CAME BACK with ESR of 80 AND MCH of 25.9 ONLY SLIGHTLY LOW,,any CORRELATION ,CAN THE FIBRIN WHICH CAUSES THE ESR TO STICK AND BE HIGH ,ROB THE RBC of hemoglobion and cause that to be low? my NEXT STEP is LP. ANY THOUGHTS would be appreciated ... there have been many reported cases of pseudo -tumor like apppearances with beign 6 nerve palsies in children post fever /flu.. LK

I would also advise evaluation for autoimmune diseases as it can be a case of young stroke .
