i had a CT scan with Iv contrast and reg contrast and gastric contrast, it showed shadowing on both ovaries and lots of fluid in my pelvic area , I have a hx of cyst and have had half my spleen removed due to a big cyst (6cm) in my upper spleen, I have termendous pain on both sides, bloated abdomen all constent never going away despite the pain meds, muscle relaxers and shot of torodol on friday pain is still very bad and I thought when cyst ruputured the pain went away??? I have had a total hysterectomy 4 years ago, except I have my ovaries and tubes I am 41.

The reason for fluid in pelvic area and multiple. It can occur in any condition affecting the abdominal and pelvic organs. As you have had hysterectomy, it might not be due to the uterus. It is essential to know if you are having any pathology of the ovaries or intestines. There are certain tests like fluid analysis and biochemical markers which will throw light on the condition. You also need to discuss any bowel problems that you might be having and get investigated further.
