Is There Any Doctor Available To Analyse This Report?
My abdominal CT results said: 2mm calculus lower pole left kidney and fluid density cyst left kidney. 7-8 mm hyperdense nodule lower pole left kidney may represent hyperdense cyst however solid nodule cannot be excluded. In "simple English" could you please tell me what this means?
1. 2mm calculus lower pole left kidney This indicates the presence of a small stone in the lower pole of left kidney. It is not causing any obstruction and there is no need to worry about it. Drinking lots or water an fluids may help flush out the stone.
2. fluid density cyst left kidney. 7-8 mm hyperdense nodule lower pole left kidney may represent hyperdense cyst however solid nodule cannot be excluded. This refers to a small water filled structure called cyst in the left kidney lower pole. It is very small to evaluate completely. You may get an ultrasound scan done in 3 - 6 months and follow up with your doctor.
