Is There Any Home Remedy For Curing Drowsiness And Sluggish Movement After Taking 5 Pills Of Clonazepam?
my wife just had 5 pills of clonazepam(2 mg) after an argument with my in-laws. symptoms : extreme drowsiness. sluggish movement. inaudible sentences. Is this alarming??? if so...... what can i do.... its 4:30 o clock midnight..... is there any home remedy
If she took 5 pills of 2 each , then she is in the safe zone. The lethal dose of clonazepam is much much higher.
There is no recommended home remedy. I would advise you just monitor her breathing rate for 2-3 hours. If it does not fall below 8 per minute then no need to rush to any hospital however if her breathing rate falls below 8 or her breathing is irregular then you will need to take her to an ER.
She will just sleep off the effects of clonazepam. She might sleep for a whole day or she might be disoriented for a couple of days. All this is perfectly normal . The only thing you have to do is to observe her breathing for 2-3 hours. I hope this information helps you Regards Dr. Salman Naeem
