Hello.Welcome.Without any MRI or CT spine how the diagnosis of spine compression has been made.Consult a orthopedician and get a MRI done for diagnosis of the problem.Once the diagnosis is made you can be treated easily.Good luck.

Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Dr. Praveen Tayal's  Response
Hello.

Thanks for writing to us.

Nerve compression symptoms do not necessarily begin with pain. The degenerative changes in the spine sometimes produce only mild nerve root irritation. Apart from pain medicines, taking methylcobalamin supplements will help in reducing nerve related symptoms. Taking local steroid injections also retards the progress of disease. Surgery is the last option.

I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.

Regards,

Dr. Praveen Tayal
