Is There Any Need To Take Rabies Injection After Been Hit By A Dog But Having No Scratch Mark Or Wound ?

A dog hit my leg while i was working on the road i have a doubt wheather its nail scratched my foot i checked my foot properly with a magnifying glass there was no scratch mark or a wound or a cut .In this case should i take a injection for anti rabbies

First of all thank you for your question.Rabies may spreads through diseased dog's(other animal also)saliva when enters our body via blood stream.Dogs lick their nail and saliva with germ can present in nail.As your skin is intact there is no possibility of rabies virus entering your body.So no anti rabies vaccine is needed this time.

In this case, I do not think you need to take an injection for Anti- Rabies.
