Is There Any Replacement For Injections With Medicines For Arthritis?

hello sir,
I am a 48 year old lady and have a right knee arithiris.....the doctors have adviced me arachitol 3l once a week.
I just needed to know whether there is any replacement to the injection with an oral medicine...and if not then where is the injection injected?
