Is There Any Risk To My Pregnancy After Cocaine Usage?

Hi, i have a question that i need answered by a doctor. from january2012-october2012 to my belief i did a large amount of drugs, within a weeks span i would do a half gram of cocaine a night and up to 20 e pills during the week. i would also drink excessively and i smoked weed like it was going out of style (i was never not high). i also did drugs such as k, shrooms and MDMA about 3 times each during that span of time. During the year of 2013 i would do about a gram of cocaine once a month. It is now January of 2014 and i think i may be pregnant. I would like to know if there is any risks to my baby and what i can do to help it.

Hello ma'am and welcome.

As long as you have undergone adequate detoxification I do not think the past abus should affect the current pregnancy. Also, please make sure you do not repeat anything from the past during your pregnancy as either one of those substances can cause detrimental damage to your growing fetus.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
