Is There Any Side Effect From Solumedrol Treatment For Spinal Lesions?
I am a 56 y/o male and being treated for lesions in my spinal cord. DX Transverse Myelitis April 2015 and TX: Prednisone IV over 3 weeks and not tolerated well after MRI on 16 Nov a new lesion was found in my C-Spine, all previous were in T- spine This treatment is with Solumedril (Sp ?) What side effects might I expect

I really appreciate your concern, if you are steroid then it may cause weight gain, lowers the immune system and contraindicated in fungal infection and endocrine disease, even not be taken in presence of any infection, with certain disease when it is highly indicated then it has to be taken without fear, hope this information helps.
