Banocide forte is a drug used very commonly for chronic cough, recurrent orchits, eosinophilia, etc, presumed to be due to infection by a parasite called microfilaria, which is commonly seen in some parts of asian countries like India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Most of the persons prescribed with Banocide forte (contains a compound called Diethyl carbamzepine) do not usually complain of any serious side effects. However, minor side effects like any kind of rash, nausea, and vomiting could occur in some, and they should consult their treating doctor if such situation. Patients having any other organ dysfunction specially liver ans kidney should inform their doctor about these aspects.
