Is There Any Solution For Difficult Equilibrium, Lack Of Focus, Difficulty To Connect Conversation After Stopping Clonozopam?
I have been weened of clonozopam (of 5 years +) and have not taken it in 2 months. My symptoms of horrible equilibrium, lack of focus for longer than 2 minutes, not connecting bits of conversation, ( and or remembering them) a neck and upper back strain ( feeling as if I have a tight band around my neck is so excruciating. I have been told by a sibling (who is in the medical field) that I should get on a treadmill or stairmaster to help with this. I am being careful with my diet. Somewon else recommended going in the steam room for a brief time each day. I am concerned about maintaining myself on my job. As a teacher, it is quite demanding. Suggestions?
Hello.I am Dr.Aren and I will help with your query. It would definitely be beneficial to increase the activity and exercise level, relying solely on drugs is not the answer.Life style changes like long walks, regular spells at the gym, meditation will all help. You can try Thiocolchicide or Brufen for the back strain.Getting your physical fitness back can be done by gradually increasing your physical activity in a phased manner. The long term side effects of benzodiazepine /Clonazepam dependence will take some time, may be a year or two to settle down so please learn to absorb them.
