Hello,
It is my privilege to be able to help you
As your niece is having Shingle, the blisters of the shingle will be painful that why your niece is having so much of pain as it affects the nerve.
There is no complete cure for shingles, but treatment may shorten the length of illness and prevent complications.
For my patients I would have advised antiviral medicines to reduce the pain and duration of shingles.Pain medicines, antidepressants, and topical creams to relieve long-term pain.
I would advise you to consult your dermatologist for complete evaluation and measures to reduce the symptoms.
Thank you.
