Is There Any Treatment To Reduce The Size Of Adenoids Besides Surgery?
Hi Doctor, My daughter is 5 and half years old. She snores a lot while sleeping, has cough repeatedly, though she never had snot running from her nose. Sometimes she keeps her mouth open also when in sleep. After the X-ray, the doctor says she has 90% blockage of adenoids and need to be removed. Is there any treatment to reduce the size of adenoids, besides surgery?

In some children it will shrink by itself. If there is recurrent infection, surgical removal is required.
