Hello,

As she is just 44 I think with the exercise she can again become better and back to normal life. Usually, in Osteoarthritis (OA) of knee there are degenerative changes in the bones and due to which there will be the weakness of the muscles of the knee leading to abnormal gait (walking) pattern and by which the joint compression. Doing exercises like - static hamstring, static Quadriceps, straight leg raise, reverse walking, improving the knee Range of Motion will be beneficial.

In my clinical practice of over 12 years, most patients at her age respond well to physiotherapy and exercise under guidance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
