Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had muscle and joint paint in my thighs, knees and shins for the past 12 months. When I go up/down steps it sends what I can best describe as a shock wave through my thigh muscles. it is very painful. I have been diagnosed with chronic bursitis in both hips and knees, but why are my thigh muscles so sore? They always feel like I have ran a marathon...not tired just Very sore. The past 2 weeks my ankle has began hurting and is very painful to put weight on it and to flex my ankle when walking.
It could be an inflammatory pain. As of now you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
