Is This Dosage Of Xanax And Lexapro Advisable In The Elderly?

My 84 year old mother s physician prescribed 1mg of Xanax and 10mg of Lexapro to be taken before bedtime. Isn t this too much at one time? I was wondering if she should take the Xanax during the day as needed and only the Lexapro at night. Any advice is appreciated. She lives alone and her nerves really get the best of her. Thanks.
