Is This Normal Of Having Acne Inside Nose After Taking Bactrim?

I was prescribed Bactrim for a small infection on my hand from a cut. I have been taking 2 a day and I am on day 3 of 5. I now have a couple "pimple like" acne in the inside of my nose and nose is red. I am also a little achy going through my day. Is this normal or should I go see a physician?

Hello
you are prescribed "BACTRIM" ( sulfamethoxasole + trimethoprim) . As you mentioned that you took one tablet twice in day for 2 days and there develop pimple or acne ( according to you inside the nose) . In my opinion this is not a pimple , rather swelling red in color due to mucous membrane in nose and you are also having itching , through out day .
These are the side effect of bactrim , so please don't take this tablet ( as bactrim causes allergy in so many patients ). Consult your treating physician and get his opinion for infection ( if any present ,still ).
