Is This Normal To Do A Port For Benlysta Procedure??

My doctor told me today they were going to start me on Benlysta for my lupus. I am suppose to go back next week to get it scheduled and find more about it. But I ve read where many people have ports for the infusion. I have had a stroke and am no stick or no bp in my right arm. Is this normal to do a port for this procedure??

Often is, often not. First time it is done, a port might not be put in until the doctors know it is going to be given MORE than ONCE.
