Is This Right Or Has Medical Science Change Feeling Like Cut And Stitched Back?
my daughter and I were talking about losing feeling from being cut and then stitch back together. I have had this done a few times but back in the 1960's. I believe that when the nerves are damage you will lose feeling in that area. Is this right or has medical science change that much???
Hi, it is right that you lose feeling when nerves are cut. But, if they can be repaired in time the sensations can be revived though not completely and they are a bit altered but they can be resumed by good surgery. But, usually we do surgery for loss of movement due to nerve damage and not loss of sensation. Take care. Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
