Is Thyroidectomy Best Remedy For Autoimmune Hyperthyroidism?
I have Graves disease w autoimmune hyperthyroidism. The autoimmune hyperthyroidism has gone into remission. Do I still gave Graves Disease and if so then how do I treat it . My few symptoms are occasional extreme fatigue . Achy body, and blurry vision. Would a thyroidectomy be my best move?
As you explain the situation if you have tried the treatment with drugs for up to one year and they have not helped the situation probably the next step is radioactive iodine and if it will also not help than thyroidectomy might be tried as the last chance. Please discuss with your doctor
