Is Tingling And Numbness In Hand And Feet A Side Effect Of Complera?
is tingling and numbness of hand and feet especially when sleeping (sometimes during day, not too often though). I am HIV+ and have been on complera since 4/2013. Can this be a serious side effect of Complera? Thanking you in advance foryour time and cooperation email: YYYY@YYYY
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have tingling and numbness in hand and feet . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like neuropathy , deficiency or vitamin B 12 and nerve compression , But in your case the symptoms are probably due to complera as its side effects . Complera is known to cause numbness in legs and hands as its side effects . I would suggest you to consult doctor who prescribe this drug . Doctor may alter the dose or prescribe substitute . For now apply warm compresses to hands and feet and drink plenty of water .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
