Is Tingling Sensation In The Outer Ear Suggestive Of TMJ Problem?
The last two weeks I have had a strange feeling to the outer ear. Tingling? Like a spider walking or it or hair tickling my ear. Now it feels like my ear is clogged. Just went to my primary today and the inner ear is fine; no wax. Slight pain and cracking..going to me dentist tomorrow thinking maybe TMJ issues. My nori marry put me on Claritin me Flonase. What else should I be doing? Is the tickling nerves?
I can understand your concern. If your ear is fine and you are having cracking sound along with pain in the ear area, there is a chance that you are having pain regarding TMJ.
Alternatively, tickling can be associated with deficiency of Vitamin B12 that can be overcome by supplements of Vitamin B12 such as Neurokind OD once a day for a month.
I would suggest that you visit a dentist once so that clinical examination of the TMJ can be done and any disorder with TMJ can be ruled out.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
