Is Tobacco Smoking Safe While On Antibiotics For Bladder Infection?
I am on the antibiotic sulfameth or trimeth being treated for a small bladder infection. I just smoked a cigerette forgetting i was taking medicine. Im not a big smoker at all but i like to have one every once in a while. Will that affect me in any way?
I understand your concerns and will explain to you.
As a doctor i don't think that smoking 1 cigarette will affect the process of curing the infection of your bladder with the antibiotics in your case
Smoking is a bad habit and has a lot of negative consequences (Lung diseases, blood diseases ect) so if you start smoking a lot,10-20 cigarettes each day,you risk of having all kind of complications in your body. If you want my opinion, don't start smoking at all,or don't make it a habit.
