Is Tongue Numbness And Tingling Normal With Strep Throat And Sinus Infection?
I currently have strep throat and a sinus infection I was using cefprozil but that was not working so currently using amoxicillin and prednisone Before starting the new meds my tongue had a tingly numb sensation and I am wondering if this is normal?
Each human body reacts or responds differently following an upset. You may notice nothing or anything ranging from soreness to pain or recurring infection or the problem you said.
General advise:
1. Don't self medicate yourself - antibiotics are wonders but only under guidance of the specialist - not everytime you require.
2. Follow simple food habits and throat hygiene.
3. Avoid cold beverages and foods
4. Avoid spicy and oily foods.
5. Do saline gargels frequently
6. Drink water frequently.
