Is Tooth Removal Advisable With This PT/INR Test Result?

I am getting my teeth pulled for dentures. I,m in remission from HCV from harvoni meds.I had a PT INR test to. Get blood coag time the pa called. Me today and told me it was 80. I think she was looking at something else on the test . IM usually around 13on my PT test. Should I call her back and ask her to look again?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you want your teeth to pulled out due to denture placement. Well PT/INR are very important in that case as it will idea about coagulation time. PT 13 is normal value to perform extraction if you are not on any anticoagulant. If you are on any anticoagulant therapy then INR level should be between 2 to 3. You should maintain proper hygiene and take all preventive measures. Follow all post op instructions as it will leave sharp edges on bone otherwise which will hamper denture placement.
