Is Tugging At Ears A Signs Of Teething In Infants?
My 8 month old son has been tugging at both ears, is that a symptom of teething or is it a true ear infection? Or something else all together ? He really is not acting any different or like he is in pain. Thank you for your time and any info you can provide.

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Teething causes irritation/pain at gunslinger with swelling, hardness of gum. The pain can be referenced to ear. In case teething of premolar or molar teeth is irrupting. SO tugging of ear along with other authentic symptoms locally along with irritated psyche, urge to bite hard things are there, it can suggest teething.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
